Natasha was a student of Tri.Art Dance Academy from the beginning, and was a student of Amy’s for 10 years(!) studying ballet, contemporary, modern and jazz. Natasha has also trained at the Swindon Centre of Advanced Training for many years, furthering her development as a young dancer and working with many professional choreographers and touring companies. She has starred too, in lots of our in house productions, playing the title role in Cinderella, and joining us in various roles in Footloose, Singin’ in the Rain, The Firebird, and West Side Story. In 2013 she was taken on by the Mark Bruce Company as an apprentice dancer and joined them on their UK tour of Dracula. After many successful rounds of audition, and after receiving offers from dance schools including Laban and The Place, Natasha has accepted a place at The Northern School of Contemporary, where she will be studying for 3 years to achieve her BPA (hons) in Contemporary Dance.
In 2013 I was asked to be the apprentice dancer for the Mark Bruce Company’s tour of Dracula. It was an amazing experience, involving eight weeks rehearsal in Frome and Bristol and then six weeks on tour around the UK. I was the understudy for the three vampire brides and I learnt so much from working with such an amazing group of dancers. I now hope to go on to make dancing my full time job. – Natasha
